When System Is Set

A number of failures or malfunctions are possible when system is set. Identify details of system failure and go to specified test.

• When trunk is opened by a method other than the key, system does not operate. Check trunk courtesy switch circuit. See TEST 9 under SYSTEM TESTS .
• When hood is opened, system does not operate. Check hood courtesy switch circuit. See TEST 11 under SYSTEM TESTS .
• Alarm is not canceled when ignition key is turned to ACC or ON position. Check ignition switch circuit. See TEST 7 under SYSTEM TESTS .
• Alarm still sounds when trunk is opened with key. Check trunk key-operated switch circuit. See TEST 8 under SYSTEM TESTS .
