Trouble Shooting
WARNING:
Deactivate air bag system before performing any service operation. See AIR BAG RESTRAINT SYSTEM
article. DO NOT
apply electrical power to any component on steering column without first deactivating air bag system. Air bag may deploy.
NOTE:
Verify power door lock system is operating properly before trouble shooting Anti-Theft System (ATS). ATS will not operate properly if power door lock system is not operating properly. When ATS is not operating properly, lower door windows and determine under what conditions system does not operate or malfunctions. See TROUBLE SHOOTING SYMPTOMS table.
