Motor Circuit Test

Connect Lexus Hand-Held Tester (scan tool) to Data Link Connector 3 (DLC3). Using scan tool, operate suspect motor. If motor operation is normal, go to next test listed in SYSTEM TEST INDEX  table. If scan tool is not available or motor does not operate normally, check seat motors. See POWER SEAT MOTOR TEST  under COMPONENT TESTS. If seat motors are okay, check circuits between power seat ECU and each seat motor. See WIRING DIAGRAMS . If circuits are okay, go to next test listed in SYSTEM TEST INDEX  table.
