Inner Mirror ELECTROCHROMIC Test
Disconnect inner rear view mirror connector. Using jumper wires, apply positive battery voltage to terminal No. 1 and negative battery terminal to terminal No. 4 at rear view mirror connector. See Fig 1. Connect positive lead of voltmeter to terminal No. 2 and negative lead to terminal No. 3. Cover front sensor with black tape. Ensure AUTO indicator is lit. Press mirror switch if needed. Observe voltmeter and shine an electric light on face of mirror. Battery voltage should exist and mirror face should change from bright to dark. Replace mirror as necessary.
