Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCS)

NOTE: On GS300, DTCs can also be cleared by removing ECU-B (7.5-amp) fuse. Removing ECU-B (7.5-amp) fuse will also erase other memory systems. ECU-B (7.5-amp) fuse is located in relay block at left side of engine compartment.

Turn ignition on. Using a jumper wire or service connector (SST 09843-18020), connect DLC1 or DLC2 terminals Tc and E1. See Figure. With vehicle stopped, depress brake pedal 8 or more times within 3 (GS300) or 5 (except GS300) seconds. Ensure TRAC OFF (except GS300) or TRAC (GS300) indicator light turns on. Remove jumper wire or service connector (SST 09843-18020).
