"3" Range Test
- Shift to "3" range. Drive with accelerator pedal held constant at full throttle. Push in one pattern selection button. Ensure 1-3 upshift points at each accelerator opening take place and are operating properly.
- While driving in "3" range, release accelerator pedal and check engine braking. If there is no engine braking, 3rd coast brake is defective. Check for abnormal noise and shock at acceleration and deceleration.
