Accuracy Check
Connect a test tachometer to ignition system. Start engine and compare vehicle tachometer readings to test tachometer reading. If vehicle tachometer reading is outside allowable range, replace tachometer. See TACHOMETER ACCURACY SPECIFICATIONS table.
