BRAKELIGHT Switch

NOTE:
Brakelight switch is also referred to as stoplight switch.
- Brakelight switch is located above brake pedal. See Figure. Before adjusting brakelight switch, ensure brake pedal height is correct. See BRAKE PEDAL HEIGHT . Disconnect brakelight switch connector. Loosen brakelight switch lock nuts. Turn brakelight switch in until threaded part of switch slightly contacts pedal stopper.
- Turn brakelight switch out one turn. Clearance between brakelight switch threaded part of switch and pedal stopper should be .02-.09" (0.5-2.4 mm). Tighten lock nut. Check brakelight operation. Brakelights should illuminate when brake pedal is depressed .20-.59" (5-15 mm).
