Open Door Warning Light

Disconnect 6-pin door lock assembly connector. Using jumper wire, connect 6-pin harness connector terminal No. 3 (Green/White wire) to ground. Turn ignition on. Open door warning light should illuminate. If warning light illuminates, circuit and bulb are okay. If warning light does not illuminate, check door open detection switch. See DOOR OPEN DETECTION SWITCH . If door open detection switch is okay, check warning light circuit plate. See INSTRUMENT CLUSTER CIRCUIT PLATE .
