Test No. 38: Wireless Door Lock Tuner Circuit

Using scan tool, check for DTC 42. If DTC 42 is not retrieved, go to next step. If DTC 42 is retrieved, check for faults in Pink wire between wireless door lock tuner and body control ECU No. 1. See WIRING DIAGRAMS . Repair or replace as necessary.
Check circuits for open between wireless door lock tuner and body control ECU No. 1. See WIRING DIAGRAMS . Repair or replace circuits as necessary. If circuits are okay, go to next step.
Replace original wireless door lock tuner with known-good unit and ensure it recovers normally. If tuner recovers normally, original wireless door lock tuner failed. If tuner does not recover normally, perform appropriate pin voltage test under BODY CONTROL ECU PIN VOLTAGE TESTS under COMPONENT TESTS.
