Diagnostic Trouble Code Chart

NOTE: Before replacing or removing the part, turn the ignition switch OFF.

HINT:

Using SST 09843-18040, connect the terminals Tc and CG of DLC3.
If any abnormality is not found when inspecting parts, inspect the ECU.
If a malfunction code is displayed during the DTC check, check the circuit listed for that code. For details of each code, refer to respective "DTC No." in the DTC chart.

⁽¹⁾	These DTC will not affect to cancel the ABS warning light by repairing the trouble area, so perform the following operations.

Drive the vehicle at 20 km/h (12 MPH) for 30 seconds or more and check that the ABS warning light goes off.
Clear the DTC (See PRE-CHECK ).

⁽²⁾	These DTC will not affect to cancel the ABS warning light by repairing the trouble area, so perform the following operations.

Keep the vehicle in the stationary condition for 5 seconds or more and depress the brake pedal lightly 2 or 3 times.
Driving the vehicle at the vehicle speed 50 km/h (31 MPH) and keep depressing the brake pedal strongly for about 3 seconds.
Repeat the above operation 3 times or more and check that the ABS warning light goes off.
Clear the DTC (See PRE-CHECK ).

HINT:

There is a case that LEXUS hand-held tester cannot be used when ABS warning light is always on.
