Driver Door ECU (Power Window Regulator Master Switch)

  1. Disconnect the connector. See CONNECTOR IDENTIFICATION .
  2. Inspect the voltage and continuity of each terminal of the vehicle's side connector. See INSPECTING DRIVER DOOR ECU VOLTAGE & CONTINUITY  table. If the value is not as specified, there may be a malfunction in the vehicle's side.
    INSPECTING DRIVER DOOR ECU VOLTAGE & CONTINUITY

    Tester Connection Wiring Color Condition (Specified Condition)
    2 (E) - Body Ground White/Black - Body Ground Constant (Continuity)
    10 (BDR) - 2 (E) Blue/White - White/Black Constant (10-14 Volts)
    9 (CPUB) - 2 (E) White/Red - White/Black Constant (10-14 Volts)
    20 (SIG) - 2 (E) Black/Red - White/Black Ignition Switch OFF To ON (0 Volt - 10-14 Volts)
    11 (MDN) - 1 (MUP) Red - Green Constant (Continuity)
    5 (LMT) - 13 (SGND) Light Green/Black - White/Black Driver's Side Door Glass Fully Closed (No Continuity)
    5 (LMT) - 13 (SGND) Light Green/Black - White/Black Driver's Side Door Glass Opened By .157 in. (4 mm) (Continuity
  3. Connect the connector and inspect the voltage between each terminal of the connector. See INSPECTING DRIVER DOOR ECU VOLTAGE  table. If the value is not as specified, replace the master switch. See POWER WINDOW MASTER SWITCH  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION.

    1 (MUP) - 2 (E), Green - White/Black Ignition Switch ON, Master Switch Driver's Side Switch OFF To UP/Manual Operation (0 Volt - 10-14 Volts)
    1 (MUP) - 2 (E), Green - White/Black Ignition Switch ON, Driver's Side Door Glass Fully Opened, Master Switch Driver's Side Switch UP (Auto Operation) To Door Fully Closed (0 Volt - 10-14 Volts - 0 Volt)
    11 (MDN) - 2 (E), Red - White/Black Ignition Switch ON, Master Switch ON, Master Switch Driver's Side Switch OFF To DOWN/Manual Operation (0 Volt - 10-14 Volts)
    11 (MDN) - 2 (E), Red - White/Black Ignition Switch ON, Driver's Side Door Glass Fully Closed, Master Switch Driver's Side Switch OFF To DOWN (Auto Operation) To Door Glass Fully Opened (0 Volt - 10-14 Volts - 0 Volt)
    6 (WLSW) - 2 (E), Gray - White/Black Ignition Switch ON, Window Lock Switch LOCK To NORMAL (0 Volt - 10-14 Volts)
