Brake Actuator Assembly: Installation

  1. To install, reverse removal procedure. Install 3 cushions and 2 cushion bolts to brake actuator. Install brake actuator to bracket with 2 nuts and tighten to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
  2. Install nut, 2 bolts and brake actuator assembly. Tighten to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
  3. Connect brake hose and connector.
  4. Using special tool (09023-00100), connect 6 brake lines to actuator and tighten to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
  5. Fill reservoir with brake fluid and bleed brake system. See BLEEDING BRAKE SYSTEM .
  6. Check for brake fluid leakage.
