Pressure Sensor: Removal

  1. Discharge refrigerant from refrigeration system
    NOTE: At the time of installation, please refer to the following items:
    • Evacuate air from refrigeration system.
    • Charge system with refrigerant and inspect for leakage of refrigerant.
      1. Specified amount:
        1. Single A/C:  650 +/- 50g (22.93 +/- 1.76 oz.)
        2. Dual A/C:  900 +/- 50g (31.74 +/- 1.76 oz.)
  2. Remove pressure switch.
    1. Disconnect the connector.
    2. Remove the pressure switch from the liquid tube.

      Torque:  10 N.m (100kgf.cm, 7 ft.lbf)

    NOTE:
    • Lock the switch mount on the tube with an open end wrench, being careful not to deform the tube, and remove the switch.

    • At the time of installation, please refer to the following item:

      Lubricate a new O-ring with compressor oil and install them to the switch.
