Inspection Procedure
- Remove the power seat ECU with connectors still connected. Measure voltage between connector P24 terminals No. 9 (SYSB) and P24-13 (SGND) of the power seat ECU connector. See CONNECTOR IDENTIFICATION . If the voltage is between 10-14 volts, proceed to the next circuit inspection of the problem symptom. See PROBLEM SYMPTOM INDEX table. If the voltage is not as specified, go to the next step.
- Measure the resistance between connector P24 terminal No. 13 (SGND) of the power seat ECU connector and body ground. If continuity is less than 1 ohm, go to the next step. If continuity is not as specified, repair or replace the harness or connector.
- Check the ECU-B fuse located in the left hand cowl side junction block behind the left kick panel. If the results are OK, check and repair the harness or connector between the power seat ECU and battery. If the results are not good, check for a short in all the harnesses and components connected to the ECU-B fuse and repair them. See Figure.
