- CHECK FUNCTION BY STANDARD OPERATION
- Check that the LOCK/UNLOCK switch operation can be done once more after the operation is repeated 3 times or more in the standard operation.
NOTE: Standard operation here means to press the transmitter switch for 1 second, facing the transmitter to the vehicle, in 3.28ft (1 m) away from the driver's door.- OK: NORMALITY
- NG: GO TO NEXT STEP.
- CHECK TRANSMITTER BATTERY SIMPLE
- When the transmitter battery is exchanged into new or normal one, check that the LOCK/UNLOCK switch operation can be done once more after the operation is repeated 3 times or more in the standard operation.
- OK: REPLACE TRANSMITTER BATTERY
- NG: GO TO NEXT STEP.
- ENTER INTO THE SELF-DIAGNOSTIC MODE
- Enter into self-diagnostic mode.NOTE:
- If LEXUS hand -held tester demands to finish it, it enters into the normal mode.
- During the self-diagnostic mode, do not carry out the LOCK/UNLOCK operation.
- Check that the it has entered into the self-diagnostic mode by the answer back of the wireless door lock buzzer sound.

NOTE:- In case of no diagnosis outputs (wireless door lock buzzer off), go to step NG-A.
- In case of discord of discrimination code (wireless door lock buzzer on), go to step NG-B.
- In case of a reception of the normal wave of the LOCK/UNLOCK switch (wireless door lock buzzer sounds) go to step OK.
- CHECK BASIC OPERATION BY NEW TRANSMITTER
- It enters into the self-diagnostic mode by an operation of the LEXUS hand-held tester or the ignition switch.
- When the new or normal transmitter switch for the same type vehicle is operated in the standard operation, check whether a discord of the recognition code is output.
NOTE:- Standard operation here means to press the transmitter switch for 1 second, facing the transmitter to the vehicle, in 3.28ft (1m) away from the driver's door.
- In case of using LEXUS hand-held tester, proceed to NG-A.
- In case of not using LEXUS hand-held tester, proceed to NG-B.
- OK: REPLACE TRANSMITTER SUB-ASSY MODULE SET DOOR CONTROL
- NG-B: GO TO STEP 8
- NG-A: GO TO NEXT STEP.
