Park/Neutral Position Switch

Disconnect harness connector at park/neutral position switch. Switch is located on side of transmission. Using ohmmeter, check for continuity between specified terminals in accordance with the gearshift lever position. For GS 300 and GS 430, see PNP SWITCH CONTINUITY (GS 300 & GS 430) table and Figure. For IS 300, LS 430 and SC 430, see Fig 1. On all models, replace PNP switch if defective.
