Airbag Sensor Assembly: Removal

NOTE: Do not open the cover or the case of the ECU and various computers unless absolutely necessary.
(If the IC terminals are touched, the IC may be destroyed by static electricity.) 
  1. REMOVE THESE PARTS: 

    (See  REMOVAL  ) 

    1. Finish plate
    2. End pad
    3. No.1 under cover
    4. Hood lock release lever
    5. No.1 safety pad
    6. No.2 under cover
    7. Glove compartment finish plate
    8. Glove compartment panel assembly
    9. Front ash receptacle
    10. Cluster finish panel
    11. Console box carpet
    12. Accessary socket
    13. Accessary case
    14. Lower rear console box
    15. Rear console armrest
    16. Console box register
    17. Console box
    18. No.3 console box mounting bracket
    19. No.1 console box duct
  2. REMOVE AIRBAG SENSOR ASSEMBLY 
    1. Disconnect the airbag sensor connectors.
      NOTE: Remove the connectors with the sensor assembly installed.
    2. Using a torx wrench, remove the 3 screws and airbag sensor assembly.

      Torx(R)wrench: T40 (Part No.09042-00020 or locally manufactured tool)
