No-Load Test
CAUTION:
DO NOT operate starter for more than 3-5 seconds.
Connect battery and ammeter to starter as indicated. See Figure. Perform STEP 4. Starter armature should rotate smoothly and steadily with pinion gear moving out. Amperage draw should be within 100-Amps at 11.5 Volts.
