Parking Brake Switch

Turn ignition off. Disconnect electrical harness connector from parking brake switch. Using an ohmmeter, check that continuity exists between parking brake switch terminal and body of parking brake switch with switch pin released (ON position) and no continuity exists with switch pin depressed (OFF position). See Fig 1. If continuity is not as specified, replace parking brake switch.
