Inspection Procedure

  1. Inspect Power Window Regulator Master Switch Assy 
    1. Remove the master switch.
    2. Check the continuity between the terminals of the switch when the AUTO switch is operated.

      Standard:

    1. OK: Go To Next Step 
    2. NG: Replace Power Window Regulator Master Switch Assy 
  2. Check Harness And Connector (Master Switch >--< Motor) 
    1. Disconnect the D17 master switch connector.
    2. Disconnect the P12 power window motor connector.
    3. Check the continuity between the wire harness side connectors.

      Standard:

    4. Reference:

      Check operation of the power window motor (driver side).

      1. Remove the motor (See FRONT DOOR ).
      2. Apply battery voltage to the connector terminals 1 and 2.
      3. Check that the motor rotates smoothly.

      NOTE: Do not apply battery voltage to any terminal except terminals 1 and 2.

      Standard:

    1. OK: Replace Power Window Regulator Motor Assy LH (Driver Side) 
    2. NG: Repair Or Replace Harness And Connector
