Section 436 (Abs Speed Sensor Rear LH): Replacement

NOTE: Replacement of RH side is same as that of LH side.
  1. REMOVE REAR WHEEL 
  2. REMOVE SPEED SENSOR REAR LH 
    1. Disconnect the speed sensor connector.

    2. NOTE:
      • Do not stick and foreign matter on the sensor tip.
      • Do not let the foreign matter into the sensor installation hole.

    3. Remove the nut and speed sensor rear from the axle hub.
  3. INSTALL SPEED SENSOR REAR LH 
      NOTE: Make sure the sensor tip is clean.

    1. Install the rear speed sensor with the nut to the steering knuckle.

      Torque: 8.3 N.m (85 kgf.cm, 73 in.lbf) 

    2. Connect the speed sensor connector.

  4. INSTALL REAR WHEEL 

    Torque: 110 N.m (1,122 kgf.cm, 81 ft.lbf) 

  5. CHECK VSC SENSOR SIGNAL (See  PRE-CHECK  )
