LH Step Sub-Assembly: Replacement

NOTE:

On the RH side, use the same procedures as on the LH side.

  1. REMOVE LH STEP SUB-ASSEMBLY 
    1. Remove the 6 bolts holding the side step assembly to the side step brackets.
    2. w/ Step lamp:

      Disconnect the step lamp wiring connector.

    3. Remove the side step assembly.
  2. REMOVE SIDE STEP BRACKET 
    1. Remove the 6 bolt and 3 brackets.
  3. INSTALL SIDE STEP BRACKET 
    1. Install the 3 brackets with the 6 bolts.

      Torque: 19.5 N.m (199 kgf.cm, 14 ft.lbf) 

  4. INSTALL LH STEP SUB-ASSEMBLY 
    1. Install the step sub-assembly with the 6 bolts.

      Torque: 5.0 N.m (51 kgf.cm, 44 ft.lbf)
