Inspection Procedure

- INSPECT AIR CONDITIONING AMPLIFIER(LOCK)
- Remove A/C amplifier assy with connectors still connected.
- Turn the ignition switch to the ON position.
- Measure voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard:

- B: REPLACE AIR CONDITIONING AMPLIFIER
- C: PROCEED TO NEXT CIRCUIT INSPECTION SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE
A: Go to next step.
- INSPECT COOLER COMPRESSOR ASSY
- Disconnect compressor connector.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard:
RESISTANCE CONDITIONTerminal No. Condition Specified Condition A2-1 - A2-2 at 20°C (68°F) 165 to 205 Ω
- NG: REPLACE COOLER COMPRESSOR ASSY
OK: Go to next step.
- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (BETWEEN COOLER COMPRESSOR ASSY AND AIR CONDITIONING AMPLIFIER)
- Check for open and short circuit in the harness and the connector between the cooler compressor assy and the A/C amplifier (See ELECTRONIC CIRCUIT INSPECTION PROCEDURE ).
- NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK: Go to next step.
PROCEED TO NEXT CIRCUIT INSPECTION SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE
