Park/Neutral Position Switch: Installation

1. Install PNP switch using the following steps:
   1. Install PNP switch with bolt. Tighten bolt to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
   2. Install new lock washer and nut. Tighten to specification.
   3. Bend claws on lock washer to stake nut. See Fig 2.
   4. Adjust PNP switch operation. See PARK/NEUTRAL POSITION SWITCH  under ADJUSTMENTS.
2. Install shift lever, with attached shift rod, to PNP switch with nut. See Fig 1.
3. Connect PNP switch connector.
4. Install engine undercover No. 2.
