Front Seat: Reassembly

Connect the seat adjuster drive cable, then install slide motor with the 2 screws.

1. Install the rear vertical motor with the 2 screws.
2. Install the plate and vertical seat link sub-assembly with the 5 nuts.

   Torque: 26 N.m (270 kgf.cm, 20 ft.lbf)

3. w/ Seat position control relay: Install the bolt.

   Torque: 7.8 N.m (80 kgf.cm, 69 in.lbf)

1. Install the front vertical motor with the 2 screws.
2. Install the No. 2 vertical seat link sub-assembly with the 2 nuts.

   Torque: 19 N.m (200 kgf.cm, 14 ft.lbf) 

3. Install the 2 bolts.

   Torque: 29 N.m (300 kgf.cm, 22 ft.lbf)

1. Install the reclining motor with the 2 screws.

2. Driver's seat: Using a torx socket wrench, install the reclining seat adjuster assembly with No. 2 vertical seat link sub-assembly with the 4 bolts.

   Torque: 19 N.m (200 kgf.cm, 14 ft.lbf) 

3. Except driver's seat: Install the seat adjuster assembly with the 4 bolts.

   Torque: 19 N.m (200 kgf.cm, 14 ft.lbf)

1. Install the anchor bracket with the 2 nuts.

   Torque: 26 N.m (270 kgf.cm, 20 ft.lbf) 

2. Install the 2 seat track covers.

Using a screwdriver, install the torsion bar.

Install the seat position control relay with the 2 nuts.

Connect the connectors, then install the wire harness to the seat adjuster.

Install the power seat switch with the 2 screws.

Install the front seat inner belt with the bolt.

Torque: 42 N.m (430 kgf.cm, 31 ft.lbf) 

1. Install the seatback cover with the new hog rings to the seatback pad.

2. Driver's seat: Install the lumber support assembly with the 2 bolts to the seatback frame.
3. Install the seatback cover with pad to the seatback frame with the new hog rings.

   HINT:

   When installing hog rings, take care to prevent wrinkles as little as possible.

4. Install the armrest, wave washer and washer with the bolt, then install the cap.

5. Install the headrest supports.
6. Engage the seat cover hook and retainer, then install the 2 screws to the seatback frame.
7. Install the new hog rings.

   HINT:

   When installing hog rings, take care to prevent wrinkles as little as possible.

1. Mount the seatback assembly on the seat adjuster assembly.
2. Connect the lumber support assembly connector.
3. Install the wire harness to the seat cushion inside covers as shown in the illustration.

   NOTE: Be careful not to damage the wire harness.
4. Install the seat cushion inside covers with the 6 screws.
5. Install the 4 seatback assembly set bolts.

   Torque: 37 N.m (375 kgf.cm, 27 ft.lbf) 

6. Engage the wire harness clamps.
7. Install the new hog rings.

   HINT:

   When installing hog rings, take care to prevent wrinkles as little as possible.

8. Install the seatback board as shown in the illustration.

1. Install the seat cushion cover with new hog rings to the seat cushion pad.
2. Install the seat cushion cover with pad to the seat cushion frame.
3. Engage the seat cushion cover hook.
4. Install new hog rings.

   HINT:

   When installing hog rings, take care to prevent wrinkles as little as possible.

1. Install the seat cushion assembly with the 4 bolts to the seat adjuster.

   Torque: 18 N.m (184 kgf.cm, 13 ft.lbf) 

2. Install the wire harness to the seat cushion as shown in the illustration.

Install the No. 1 front seat cushion shield with the 2 screws.

Install the front seat inner cushion cover with the 3 screws.

1. Connect the connector, then install the front seat cushion shield with the 4 screws.
2. Install the power seat switch knobs.
