Wireless Door Lock Control System - Diagnosis: Pre-Check

  1. READ VALUE OF HAND-HELD TESTER 
    1. Connect the hand-held tester to the DLC3.
    2. Read the data monitor using the hand-held tester.

      Transponder (immobilizer) key ECU (switch condition): 

      TRANSPONDER IMMOBILIZER KEY ECU SWITCH CONDITION

      Item Inspection Condition Specified Condition
      KEYSW IG ON --> Without key ON --> OFF

      Theft warning (security) ECU (switch condition): 

      THEFT WARNING (SECURITY) ECU SWITCH CONDITION

      Item Inspection Condition Specified Condition
      The number of registered recognition codes - 0-8
  2. PERFORM ACTIVE TEST USING HAND-HELD TESTER 
    1. Connect the hand-held tester to the DLC3.
    2. Enter into the active test using the hand-held tester.

      Theft warning (security) ECU (switch condition): 

      THEFT WARNING (SECURITY) ECU SWITCH CONDITION

      Item Motor
      Overhead tuner OUTPUT/STOP
      Wireless buzzer ON/OFF
  3. CHANGE SETTING OF CUSTOMIZING FUNCTION USING HAND-HELD TESTER (REFERENCE) 
    1. Connect the hand-held tester to the DLC3.
    2. Select a setting from the following items on the wireless door lock.

      Theft warning (security) ECU (switch condition): 

      THEFT WARNING (SECURITY) ECU (SWITCH CONDITION)

      Item Setting
      Wireless main switch With/Without function
      Hazard answer back With / Without function
      Automatic locking time 30 sec. / 60 sec.
      Open door indicator With/Without warning
      Trunk opener ON / 2 ONs / 0.8 sec. / Prohibited
      2 wireless operations turn UNLOCK Without function / only Driver's side for 1st operation / Driver's side for 1st operation
