Inspection Procedure

- CHECK AND REPLACE OUTER REAR VIEW MIRROR ASSY LH
- Disconnect the M2 outer mirror control ECU connector, and check that the mirror operates when the battery positive voltage is applied to the wire harness side.

OK: REPLACE OUTER MIRROR CONTROL ECU ASSY
NG: Go to next step.
- Disconnect the M2 outer mirror control ECU connector, and check that the mirror operates when the battery positive voltage is applied to the wire harness side.
- INSPECT OUTER REAR VIEW MIRROR ASSY LH
- Disconnect the M3 outer rear view mirror connector, and check that the mirror operates when the battery positive voltage is applied to the wire harness side.

NG: REPLACE OUTER REAR VIEW MIRROR ASSY LH
OK: Go to next step.
- Disconnect the M3 outer rear view mirror connector, and check that the mirror operates when the battery positive voltage is applied to the wire harness side.
- CHECK WIRE HARNESS (OUTER MIRROR CONTROL ECU - OUTER REAR VIEW MIRROR LH)
- Disconnect the M3 outer rear view mirror and M2 outer mirror control ECU connectors.
- Check the continuity between the disconnected connectors.
Standard
NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE WIRE HARNESS AND CONNECTOR
OK: REPLACE OUTER MIRROR CONTROL ECU ASSY
- CHECK OUTER REAR VIEW MIRROR ASSY RH
- Disconnect the M2 outer mirror control ECU connector, and then check that the mirror operates when the battery positive voltage is applied to the wire harness side.

- Disconnect the M4 outer rear view mirror connector, a then check that the mirror operates when the battery positive voltage is applied to the wire harness side.
- CHECK WIRE HARNESS (OUTER MIRROR CONTROL ECU - OUTER REAR VIEW MIRROR RH)
- Disconnect the M4 outer rear view mirror and M2 out mirror control ECU connectors.
- Check the continuity between the disconnected connectors.
