Inspection Procedure

HINT:

In case of using the hand-held tester, start the inspection from step 1 and in case of not using the hand-held tester, start from step 2.

  1. Check wireless door lock using hand-held tester. 

    PREPARATION: 

    Connect the hand-held tester to DLC 3.

    CHECK: 

    Check that the wireless door lock operate in ACTIVE TEST (See PRE-CHECK ).

    1. OK : Proceed to next circuit inspection shown on problem symptoms table (See  PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE  ). 
    2. NG : Go to next step 
  2. Check wire harness and connector between wireless door lock ECU and Body ECU (Main) (See  HOW TO USE THE DIAGNOSTIC CHART AND INSPECTION PROCEDURE  ). 
    1. NG : Repair or replace wire harness or connector. 
    2. OK : Go to Wireless Door Lock Control System (See  HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING  ).
