- Constant speed control mode and vehicle-to-vehicle distance control mode:
If the following conditions are detected while the dynamic laser cruise control is in operation, the system clears the stored vehicle speed in the ECM and cancels the dynamic laser cruise control operation.

VEHICLE CONDITIONVehicle condition Auto cancel condition Re-operation condition - The CRUISE main indicator light blinks.
- The master warning light comes on.
- "Cheak Cruise System" is displayed.
- A "pong" warning sound is heard.
- There is an open or short in the stop lamp switch circuit.
- There is a problem with the vehicle speed signal.
- There is a problem with the throttle position sensor and motor.
Push the ON-OFF button of the cruise control main switch on again. - Only in the vehicle-to-vehicle distance control mode:

If the following conditions are detected while the dynamic laser cruise control is in operation, the system maintains the stored vehicle speed in the ECM and cancels the dynamic laser cruise control operation.

- "Clean Radar Sensor" is displayed.
- A "pong" warning sound is heard.
There is dirt on the laser sensor. Recover from the condition on the left. (RESUME operation is possible after recovery.) - The master warning light comes on.
- "Cruise not Available" is displayed.
- A "pong" warning sound is heard.
- The wiper switch is in LO or HI position.
- "The ECT-SNOW switch" is on.
- The laser sensor receives a strong flash of light from the front.
- The laser sensor is least sensitive because of bad weather such as rain, fog, snow and sandstorms.
- Recover from the conditions on the left. (RESUME operation is possible after recovery.)
- Push the ON-OFF button of the cruise control main switch on again.

HINT:
In the vehicle-to-vehicle distance control mode, the stored vehicle speed in the ECM is maintained.
VEHICLE CONDITIONVehicle condition Auto cancel condition Re-operation condition The CRUISE main indicator light goes off. - Vehicle speed is lower than the low speed limit (approx. 40 km/h (25 mph)) while running with the cruise control on.
- Vehicle speed is lower than the stored vehicle speed by 16 km/h (9.9 mph) or more while running with the cruise control on.
