Power Rear Shade System: Inspection

INSPECT REAR SUN SHADE SWITCH ASSY

Check the rear sun shade switch continuity.

Standard:

REAR SUN SHADE TERMINAL SPECIFICATION

Terminal No.	Switch position	Specified condition
1 <==> 4	ON	Continuity
-	OFF	No continuity

Check the switch illumination.

Standard:

SWITCH ILLUMINATION TERMINAL SPECIFICATION

Terminal No.	Specified condition
3 (battery +) <==> 2 (battery -)	Illumination turns ON

If the switch is not as specified, replace the rear sun shade switch assy.
