Inspection Procedure

- INSPECT FUSE (ECU-IG)
- Remove the ECU - IG fuse from the driver side J/B.
- Check the continuity of ECU - IG fuse.
Standard:
Below 1 Ω
- NG : REPLACE FUSE
- OK : Go to next step.
- CHECK WIRE HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (DISTANCE CONTROL ECU - BODY GROUND)
- Remove the distance control ECU with connector.
- Check the continuity between terminal SGND (D2-10) and GND (D2-12) of distance control ECU and body ground.
Standard:
Below 1 Ω

- NG : REPAIR OR REPLACE WIRE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
- OK : Go to next step.
- CHECK WIRE HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (DISTANCE CONTROL ECU - BATTERY)
- Measure the voltage between terminal B (D2-1) of distance control ECU and body ground.
Standard:
10 to 14 V

- NG : REPAIR OR REPLACE WIRE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
- OK : PROCEED TO NEXT CIRCUIT INSPECTION SHOWN ON PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE .
- Measure the voltage between terminal B (D2-1) of distance control ECU and body ground.
