Inspection Procedure

  1. INSPECT FUSE (ECU-IG) 
    1. Remove the ECU - IG fuse from the driver side J/B.
    2. Check the continuity of ECU - IG fuse.

      Standard: 

      Below 1 Ω 

    1. NG : REPLACE FUSE 
    2. OK : Go to next step. 
  2. CHECK WIRE HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (DISTANCE CONTROL ECU - BODY GROUND) 
    1. Remove the distance control ECU with connector.
    2. Check the continuity between terminal SGND (D2-10) and GND (D2-12) of distance control ECU and body ground.

      Standard: 

      Below 1 Ω

    1. NG : REPAIR OR REPLACE WIRE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR 
    2. OK : Go to next step. 
  3. CHECK WIRE HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (DISTANCE CONTROL ECU - BATTERY) 
    1. Measure the voltage between terminal B (D2-1) of distance control ECU and body ground.

      Standard: 

      10 to 14 V

    1. NG : REPAIR OR REPLACE WIRE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR 
    2. OK : PROCEED TO NEXT CIRCUIT INSPECTION SHOWN ON  PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE  .
