Inspection Procedure
- READ VALUE OF HAND-HELD TESTER
- Check the DATA LIST for proper function of the buckle switch front LH.
Driver side J/B ECU:
OK:
ON is displayed when the seat belt is fastened.
OFF is displayed when the seat belt is unfastened.
- NG: Go to step 2
- OK: PROCEED TO NEXT CIRCUIT INSPECTION SHOWN ON PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE (See PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE )
- Check the DATA LIST for proper function of the buckle switch front LH.
- INSPECT BUCKLE SWITCH FRONT LH
- Disconnect the B4 switch connector.
- Measure the resistance.
Standard:
- NG: REPLACE BUCKLE SWITCH FRONT LH
- OK: Go to next step.
- CHECK WIRE HARNESS (BUCKLE SWITCH FRONT LH - DRIVER SIDE J/B ECU AND BODY GROUND)
- Disconnect the B4 switch and D4 ECU connectors.
- Measure the resistance of the wire harness side connectors.

- NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS AND CONNECTOR
- OK: PROCEED TO NEXT CIRCUIT INSPECTION SHOWN ON PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE (See PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE )
