Battery negative (-) --> Terminal 7Close - Check the resistance of the clutch terminals.
Standard:
TESTER CONNECTION SPECIFICATIONSTester Connection Specified Condition 3 - 9 4.0 Ω - Reinstall the unit with the connector connected.
If the result is not as specified, replace the drive unit.
- Check the pulse of the pulse sensor.
- Using an oscilloscope, check the pulse generated when the door is manually opened and closed.
Standard (Reference):
TESTER CONNECTION SPECIFICATIONSTester Condition 1 - 6, 5 - 6 Tool setting 10 V/DIV., 10 ms/DIV. Vehicle condition Door moving HINT:
A cycle of the pulse changes between approx. 10 to 20 msec. according to the speeds that the slide door is moving.
If the result is not as specified, replace the drive unit.
- POWER BACK DOOR WARNING BUZZER
- Check the resistance of the buzzer.
Standard:
TESTER CONNECTION SPECIFICATIONSTester Condition Specified Condition 1 - 2 Approx. 1 kΩ If the result is not as specified, replace the buzzer.
NOTE:- The circuit that causes the buzzer to sounds is built into the back door ECU, not around the buzzer.
- Directly applying battery voltage to the buzzer does not cause the buzzer to sound.
- Check the resistance of the buzzer.
