Headlight Assembly: Reassembly

  1. INSTALL HEADLIGHT UNIT 
  2. INSTALL LIGHT REFLECTOR MOTOR (w/ AFS) 
    1. Install the light reflector motor with the 2 screws.
    2. Connect the connector.

  3. INSTALL HEADLIGHT SWIVEL ECU SUB-ASSEMBLY (w/ AFS) 
    1. Install the headlight swivel ECU sub-assembly with the screw.
    2. Connect the connector.
  4. INSTALL HEADLIGHT LEVELING MOTOR BASE PACKING (for HID Headlight) 
    1. Install a new headlight leveling motor base packing.
      NOTE: After the headlight leveling motor base packing is removed, be sure to replace it with a new one. Failure to do this may cause water ingress.

  5. INSTALL HEADLIGHT LEVELING MOTOR (for HID Headlight) 
    1. Install the headlight leveling motor as shown in the illustration.

  6. INSTALL HEADLIGHT LEVELING MOTOR (for HID Headlight) 
  7. INSTALL HEADLIGHT CORD (for HID Headlight) 
  8. INSTALL HEADLIGHT GASKET (for HID Headlight) 
    1. Install a new headlight gasket.
      NOTE: After the headlight gasket is removed, be sure to replace it with a new one. Failure to do this may cause water ingress.
  9. INSTALL HEADLIGHT BRACKET (for HID Headlight) 
  10. INSTALL NO. 1 HEADLIGHT COVER (for HID Headlight) 
  11. INSTALL LIGHT CONTROL ECU SUB-ASSEMBLY (w/ AFS) 
    1. Connect the connector.

    2. Install the light control ECU sub-assembly to the No. 1 headlight cover with the 3 screws.

    3. Install the light control ECU sub-assembly and the No. 1 headlight cover with the 4 screws.

    4. Install the bracket with the 2 screws.

    5. Install the cover with the 2 screws.

  12. INSTALL LIGHT CONTROL ECU SUB-ASSEMBLY (for HID Headlight) 
    1. Connect the connector.

    2. Install the light control ECU sub-assembly to the No. 1 headlight cover with the 3 screws.

    3. Install the light control ECU sub-assembly and the No. 1 headlight cover with the 4 screws.

    4. Install the bracket with the 2 screws.
  13. INSTALL CLEARANCE LIGHT SOCKET AND WIRE 
  14. INSTALL CLEARANCE LIGHT BULB 
    1. Install the clearance light bulb to the clearance light socket and wire.

    2. Turn the clearance light bulb and clearance light socket in the direction indicated by the arrow and install them as a unit.
  15. INSTALL FRONT SIDE MARKER LIGHT SOCKET AND WIRE 
  16. INSTALL FRONT SIDE MARKER LIGHT BULB 
    1. Install the front side marker light bulb to the front side marker light socket and wire.

    2. Turn the front side marker light bulb and front side marker light socket and wire in the direction indicated by the arrow and install them as a unit.
  17. INSTALL FRONT TURN SIGNAL LIGHT SOCKET 
  18. INSTALL FRONT TURN SIGNAL LIGHT BULB 
    1. Install the front turn signal light bulb to the front turn signal light socket.

    2. Turn the front turn signal light bulb and front turn signal light socket in the direction indicated by the arrow and install them as a unit.

  19. INSTALL NO. 1 HEADLIGHT BULB (for Halogen Headlight) 
    1. Install the No. 1 headlight bulb as shown in the illustration.

  20. INSTALL NO. 1 HEADLIGHT BULB (for HID Headlight) 
    1. Lock the set spring to install the No. 1 headlight bulb.

    2. Turn the socket of the light control ECU sub-assembly in the direction indicated by the arrow to connect the socket.

  21. INSTALL HEADLIGHT SOCKET COVER 
    1. Install the headlight socket cover as shown in the illustration.

  22. INSTALL NO. 2 HEADLIGHT BULB 
    1. Install the No. 2 headlight bulb as shown in the illustration.
