Headlight Dimmer Switch: Installation

  1. INSTALL HEADLIGHT DIMMER SWITCH 
    1. Install the headlight dimmer switch as shown in the illustration.

    2. Install the headlight dimmer switch with the claw and the clamp.
    3. Connect the connector.

  2. INSTALL WIPER SWITCH 
  3. INSTALL SPIRAL CABLE  (See INSTALLATION )
  4. INSTALL STEERING COLUMN COVER (for Manual Tilt)  (See INSTALLATION )
  5. INSTALL STEERING COLUMN COVER (for Power Tilt and Power Telescopic)  (See INSTALLATION )
  6. ADJUST SPIRAL CABLE  (See INSTALLATION )
  7. INSTALL STEERING WHEEL ASSEMBLY (for Manual Tilt)  (See INSTALLATION )
  8. INSTALL STEERING WHEEL ASSEMBLY (for Power Tilt and Power Telescopic)  (See INSTALLATION )
  9. INSPECT STEERING WHEEL CENTER POINT 
  10. INSTALL STEERING PAD  (See INSTALLATION )
  11. INSTALL STEERING WHEEL NO. 2 COVER LOWER  (See INSTALLATION )
  12. INSTALL STEERING WHEEL NO. 3 COVER LOWER  (See INSTALLATION )
  13. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL 
  14. INSPECT STEERING PAD  (See INSTALLATION )
  15. PERFORM INITIALIZATION 
    NOTE: Some systems need initialization when disconnecting the cable from the negative battery terminal.
  16. INSPECT SUPPLEMENTAL RESTRAINT SYSTEM WARNING LIGHT
