Inspection Procedure

HINT:
Identify the connector to be checked by its color of the wire and shape of the junction on the CAN J/C because the locations of the connectors to the CAN J/C are confusing.
- CHECK DLC3
- Turn the ignition switch to the LOCK position.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

B: REPAIR OR REPLACE DLC3 BRANCH WIRE OR CONNECTOR (CAN-H, CAN-L)
A: Go to Next Step
- INSPECT WIRING HARNESS CONNECTOR (CAN J/C1)
- Disconnect the CAN main bus wire connector (J27) from the wiring harness connector (CAN J/C1).
- Measure the resistance according to the value in the table below.
Standard resistance

NG: REPLACE WIRING HARNESS CONNECTOR (CAN J/C1)
OK: Go to Next Step
- INSPECT WIRING HARNESS CONNECTOR (CAN J/C2)
- Reconnect the CAN main bus wire connector (J27) to the wiring harness connector (CAN J/C1).
- Disconnect the CAN main bus wire connector (J43) from the wiring harness connector (CAN J/C2).NOTE:
- When disconnecting, check the location of each connector.
- When connecting, make sure that each connector is connected properly.
- Measure the resistance according to the value in the table below.
