EFI Main Relay: Inspection

  1. REMOVE RELAY BOX COVER 
  2. REMOVE EFI MAIN RELAY (Marking: EFI)

  4. INSPECT EFI MAIN RELAY 
    1. Inspect the relay continuity.
      1. Using an ohmmeter, check that there is a continuity between terminals 1 and 3.

        If there is no continuity, replace the relay.

      2. Check that there is no continuity between terminals 2 and 4.

        If there is a continuity, replace the relay.

    3. Inspect the relay operation.
      1. Apply battery positive voltage across terminal 1 and 3.
      2. Using an ohmmeter, check that there is a continuity between terminal 2 and 4.

      If there is no continuity, replace the relay.

  5. REINSTALL EFI MAIN RELAY 
  6. REINSTALL RELAY BOX COVER
