Using Scan Tool

  1. Connect hand-held tester to (DLC3). See Figure.
  2. Disconnect fluid temperature sensor harness connector. See Figure.
  3. Start engine. Push height select switch to adjust vehicle height from "N" to "LO" then back to "N" position.
  4. Stop the engine and read the pressure value of the rear shock absorber with hand-held tester. Pressure should be 811-967 Psi (5592-6667 kPa). If the pressure is not within specified range, it may be that a load object is either installed or removed.
  5. Check for stored DTC. See RETRIEVING DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODES  under SELF-DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM. If a DTC is stored, clear the DTC. See CLEARING DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODES  under SELF-DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM.
  6. Start engine. Push height select switch to adjust vehicle height to "LO" then to "N" position. Check that vehicle is raised at all 4 wheels simultaneously.
