Inspection Procedure

1. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (ECM - BATTERY) 
   1. Turn the ignition switch off.
   2. Disconnect the E7 connector of the ECM.
   3. Measure the voltage according to the value (s) in the table below.

   Standard: 

   TESTER CONNECTION AND SPECIFIC CONDITIONS
   
   

   Tester connection	Condition	Specification
   PI (E7-13) -Body ground	Ignition ON	10 to 14V

   NG: GO TO STEP 2 

   OK: PROCEED TO NEXT CIRCUIT INSPECTION SHOWN IN  PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE  

2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (COMBINATION METER ASSY - ECM) 
   1. Turn the ignition switch off.
   2. Disconnect the combination meter C7 connector.
   3. Measure the resistance according to the value (s) in the table below.

   Standard: 

   TESTER CONNECTION AND SPECIFIC CONDITIONS
   
   

   Tester connection	Condition	Specification
   C7-25 - PI (E7-13)	Always	Below 1 Ω
   C7-25 - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher

   NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR (COMBINATION METER ASSY -ECM) 

   OK: Go To Next Step. 

3. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (COMBINATION METER ASSY - BATTERY) 

1. Measure the voltage according to the value (s) in the table below.

Standard: 

NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR (COMBINATION METER ASSY -BATTERY) 

OK: REPLACE COMBINATION METER ASSY (SEE  COMBINATION METER ASSY  )
