How To Proceed With Troubleshooting

Troubleshoot in accordance with the procedure on the following pages.

  1. VEHICLE BROUGHT IN 

    Go To Next Step

  2. CUSTOMER PROBLEM ANALYSIS CHECK AND PROBLEM SYMPTOM CONFIRMATION (See  CUSTOMER PROBLEM ANALYSIS CHECK   ) 

    Go To Next Step

  3. (See  PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE   ) 
    1. Without an applicable problem symptom table, proceed to "A".
    2. With an applicable problem symptom table, proceed to "B".

    B: Go to step   5 

    A: Go To Next Step 

  4. ACCORDING TO PROBLEM SYMPTOM, PERFORM TROUBLESHOOTING 
    1. (See PRE-CHECK  )
      1. Inspection with the hand-held tester (ECU data monitor)
      2. Inspection with the hand-held tester (Active test)
    2. (See TERMINALS OF ECU  )

  5. ADJUSTMENT, REPAIR OR REPLACE
