Terminals Of Ecu

  1. CHECK POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MASTER SWITCH (DRIVER'S DOOR ECU)

    1. Disconnect the D17 master switch connector.
    2. Check the continuity and voltage of each terminal of the disconnected connector.
      1. Standard: 
      ECU TERMINALS VOLTAGE REFERENCE

      Symbols (Terminal No.) Wiring color Condition Specified condition
      GND (D17-2) <=> Body ground W-B <=> Body ground Constant Continuity
      BDR (D17-10) <=> GND (D17-2) L-W <=> W-B Constant 10-14 V
      CPUB (D17-9) <=> GND (D17-2) W-R <=> W-B Constant 10-14 V
      SIG (D17-20) <=> GND (D17-2) B-R <=> W-B Ignition switch OFF --> ON 0V --> 10 - 14 V
      KL (D17-4) <=> KEYE (D17-3) L-Y <=> W-B Driver's door key cylinder OFF --> LOCK No continuity --> Continuity
      KUL (D17-14) <=> KEYE (D17-3) L<=>W-B Driver's door key cylinder OFF --> UNLOCK No continuity --> Continuity
      LSWD (D17-16) <=> KEYE (D17-3) LG <=> W-B Driver's door LOCK --> UNLOCK No continuity --> Continuity
    3. Reconnect the master switch connector.
    4. Check the voltage of each terminal of the connector.
      1. Standard: 
      ECU TERMINALS VOLTAGE REFERENCE

      LSWD (D17-16) <=>KEYE (D17-3) LG --> W-B Driver's door LOCK --> UNLOCK 10 - 14 V --> 0 V
  2. CHECK DRIVER SIDE JUNCTION BLOCK ASSY (BODY ECU) (LEFT SIDE)

    1. Disconnect the B4 body ECU connector.
    2. Check the continuity of the terminal of the disconnected connector.
      1. Standard: 
      ECU TERMINALS CONTINUITY REFERENCE

      Symbols (Terminal No.) Wiring color Condition Specified condition
      KSW (B4-19) <=> Body ground L <=> Body ground No key in the ignition key cylinder --> With key No continuity --> Continuity
    3. Reconnect the B4 body ECU connector.
    4. Check the voltage of each terminal of the connector.
      1. Standard: 
      ECU TERMINALS VOLTAGE REFERENCE

      ACTD (B6-11) <=> Body ground L-B <=> Body ground Master switch and driver's door key cylinder OFF --> LOCK 0V --> 10 - 14 V --> 0V

      PCTY (B4-11) <=> Body ground R-G <=> Body ground Passenger's door CLOSED --> OPEN 10 - 14 V --> Below 0V
      RLCY (B4-12) <=> Body ground R-W <=> Body ground Rear door LH CLOSED --> OPEN 10 - 14 V --> Below 0V
      RRCY (B4-14) <=> Body ground R-Y <=> Body ground Rear door RH CLOSED --> OPEN 10 - 14 V --> Below 0V
  3. CHECK DRIVER SIDE JUNCTION BLOCK ASSY (BODY ECU) (REAR SIDE)

    1. Disconnect the 2B, 2F and 2G driver side J/B connectors.
    2. Check the continuity and voltage of each terminal of the disconnected connectors.
      1. Standard: 
      ECU TERMINALS VOLTAGE CONTINUITY REFERENCE

      B (2F-7) <=> Body ground R <=> Body ground Constant 10 - 14 V
      BDR1 (2G-14) <=> Body ground L-W <=> Body ground Constant 10 - 14 V
      SGND (2B-11) <=> Body ground BR <=> Body ground Constant Continuity
    3. Reconnect the connectors, and check continuity and voltage of each terminal of the connectors.

      ECU TERMINALS VOLTAGE CONTINUITY REFERENCE
