Front Shock Absorber: Reassembly

HINT:

Match the bolt of the suspension support with the cut-out part of the spring bumper.

1. Using SST, compress the coil spring.

   SST 09727-30021

   NOTE: Do not use an impact wrench. It will damage the SST.
2. Install the coil spring to the shock absorber.

   HINT:

   Fit the lower end of the coil spring into the recess of the spring seat of the shock absorber.

1. Install the suspension support sub-assembly to the rod.
2. Temporarily tighten a new lock nut.
3. Align the suspension support with the shock absorber lower bolt, as shown.

HINT:

After removing the SST, recheck the direction of the suspension support.
