1. Inspect the light control switch continuity.
   1. Check continuity between terminals at each switch position as shown in LIGHT CONTROL SWITCH CONTINUITY .

2. Inspect the headlamp dimmer switch continuity.
   1. Check continuity between terminals at each switch position as shown in HEADLAMP DIMMER SWITCH CONTINUITY .

3. Inspect the turn signal switch continuity.
   1. Check continuity between terminals at each switch position as shown in TURN SIGNAL SWITCH CONTINUITY .

4. Inspect the front fog lamp switch continuity.
   1. Check continuity between terminals at each switch position as shown in FRONT FOG LAMP SWITCH CONTINUITY .

2. Inspect illumination operation.
   1. Connect the battery positive (+) lead to terminal 4 and the battery negative (-) lead to terminal 5, then check that the illumination comes on.

1. Inspect courtesy lamp assy continuity.
   1. Check continuity between terminals when the switch is operated.

      Standard: 

      • ON (When shaft is pressed): No continuity 
      • OFF (When shaft is not pressed): Continuity 

1. Inspect courtesy lamp assy continuity.
   1. Check continuity between terminal and the switch body when the switch is operated.

      Standard: 

      • ON (When shaft is pressed): No continuity 
      • OFF (When shaft is not pressed): Continuity 

1. Inspect courtesy lamp assy continuity.
   1. Check continuity between terminal and the switch body when the switch is operated.

      Standard: 

      • ON (When shaft is pressed): No continuity 
      • OFF (When shaft is not pressed): Continuity 

1. Inspect courtesy lamp assy continuity.
   1. Check continuity between terminals when the switch is operated.

      Standard: 

      • ON (When shaft is pressed): No continuity 
      • OFF (When shaft is not pressed): Continuity 

1. Inspect relay continuity.

   Standard: 

   HEADLAMP RELAY

1. Connect the battery positive (+) lead to terminal 2 and the battery negative (-) lead to terminal 6, and check that the indicator light comes on.

   1. Check continuity between terminals at each switch position as shown in MAP LAMP ASSY .

(Inside Handle Illumination) 

1. Check continuity between terminals 1 (+B) and 2 (GND).

   Standard: Continuity

   HINT:

   Connect the positive (+) terminal of the tester to the terminal 1 (+B) of the connector, and the negative (-) terminal of the tester to the terminal 2 (GND) of the connector to check the continuity.

(Driver Side Foot Light) 

1. Check continuity between terminals 1 (+B) and 2 (GND).

   Standard: Continuity 

   HINT:

   Connect the positive (+) terminal of the tester to the terminal 1 (+B) of the connector, and the negative (-) terminal of the tester to the terminal 2 (GND) of the connector to check the continuity.

(Front Passenger Side Foot Light) 

1. Check continuity between terminals 1 (+B) and 2 (GND).

   Standard: Continuity 

   HINT:

   Connect the positive (+) terminal of the tester to the terminal 1 (+B) of the connector, and the negative (-) terminal of the tester to the terminal 2 (GND) of the connector to check the continuity.

1. Inspect the side step lamp assy.
   1. Check continuity between terminals when the courtesy lamp switch is operated.

   Standard: 

   ON: Continuity
