Body Outside Moulding: Installation

1. Using a heat light, heat the body mounting surface to 40 - 60 °C (104 - 140 °F).
   NOTE: Do not heat the body excessively.
2. Remove adhesive tape from the body.
3. Wipe off stains with a cleaner.

If reusing the moulding.

1. Using a heat light, heat the moulding to 20 - 40 °C (68 - 86 °F).
   NOTE: Do not heat the moulding excessively.
2. Remove the adhesive tape from the moulding.
3. Wipe off stains with a cleaner.
4. Apply new adhesive tape to the moulding as shown in the illustration.

1. Using a heat light, heat the body and the moulding.

   Body: 40 - 60 °C (104 - 140 °F) 

   Moulding: 20 - 30 °C (68 - 86 °F) 

   NOTE: Do not heat the moulding excessively.
2. Remove the moulding release sheet from the face of moulding.
   NOTE: When the moulding release sheet is removed, make sure that no dirt or dust can get onto the coated area.
3. Align the bosses with their corresponding holes in the body, and press firmly on the moulding.
   NOTE: Do not apply excessive force onto the moulding, but apply steady pressure with your thumbs.
4. Install the moulding.

Install the rocker panel moulding with the 10 screws.

Install the front mudguard with the 2 screws and the bolt.

INSTALL SIDE STEP ASSEMBLY 

Install the side step assembly with the 8 bolts.

Torque: 5.0 N.m (51 kgf.cm, 44 in.lbf)

INSTALL RUNNING BOARD LIGHTS ASSEMBLY 

Install the running board lights assembly with the 8 bolts and connect the connector.

Torque: 5.0 N.m (51 kgf.cm, 44 in.lbf)
