Inspection Procedure

HINT:

When not using a hand-held tester, go to combination meter system (See COMBINATION METER ).

1. READ VALUE OF HAND-HELD TESTER 
   1. Connect the hand-held tester to the DLC3.
   2. Turn the ignition switch to the ON position, and turn the hand-held tester main switch ON.
   3. Select the item "CCS INDICATOR M", "CCS INDICATOR S", "CCS READY M" or "CCS READY S" in the DATA LIST, and read its value displayed on the hand-held tester.

   4. Check the CRUISE main indicator light and READY indicator light, when the cruise control main switch is ON and OFF.

      ECM: 

   1. NG: GO TO COMBINATION METER SYSTEM (See  COMBINATION METER  ) 
   2. OK: PROCEED TO NEXT CIRCUIT INSPECTION SHOWN ON  PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE
