Terminals Of Ecu

  1. CHECK DRIVER SIDE JUNCTION BLOCK ASSY (BODY ECU) (LEFT SIDE)

    1. Disconnect the B4 body ECU connector and check the continuity of terminal of the disconnected connector.
      1. Standard: 
      TERMINALS CONDITION

      Symbols (Terminal No.) Wiring color Condition Specified condition
      KSW <=> Body ground (B4-19) <=> (Body ground) L <=> Body ground No key in ignition switch lock cylinder --> Yes No continuity --> Continuity

      HINT:

      If the result is not as specified, the vehicle's side may malfunction.

    2. Reconnect the B4 connector, and check the voltage of the wire harness side connector.
      1. Standard: 
      TERMINALS CONDITION

      Symbols (Terminal No.) Wiring color Condition Specified condition
      DCTY <=> Body ground (B6-1) <=> (Body ground) R-G <=> Body ground Driver's door fully closed --> Opened 10-14V --> 0V

      HINT:

      If the result is not as specified, the body ECU may malfunction.

  2. CHECK DRIVER SIDE JUNCTION BLOCK ASSY (BODY ECU) (REAR SIDE)

    1. Disconnect the 2B, 2E and 2F driver side J/B connectors.
    2. Check the voltage and continuity of each terminal of the wire harness side connectors.
      1. Standard: 
      TERMINALS CONDITION

      Symbols (Terminal No.) Wiring color Condition Specified condition
      SIG <=> Body ground (2E-2) <=> (Body ground) B-G <=> Body ground Turn ignition switch OFF --> ON 0V --> 10 - 14 V
      B <=> Body ground (2F-7) <=> (Body ground) R <=> Body ground Constant 10 - 14 V
      SGND <=> Body ground (2B-11) <=> (Body ground) BR <=> Body ground Constant Continuity

      HINT:

      If the result is not as specified, the vehicle's side may malfunction.

    3. Reconnect the 2B, 2E and 2F driver side J/B connectors.
    4. Check the voltage and continuity of each terminal of the wire harness side connectors.
      1. Standard: 
      TERMINALS CONDITION

      Symbols (Terminal No.) Wiring color Condition Specified condition
      ACC <=> Body ground (2A-2) <=> (Body ground) W <=> Body ground Turn ignition switch OFF --> ON 0V --> 10 - 14 V
      GND <=> Body ground (2R-8) <=> (Body ground) W-B <=> Body ground Constant Continuity

      HINT:

      If the result is not as specified, the driver side J/B (body ECU) may malfunction.
