Entry Lock and Unlock Functions do not Operate on All Doors: Description

When the key cancel function is ON, all entry functions will stop operating. If the key cancel function is operated but all entry functions stop operating, one of the following is malfunctioning: 1)key cancel function, 2) certification ECU, or 3) wire harness.

1. CHECK ALL DOOR ENTRY LOCK AND UNLOCK OPERATION 
   1. Check that the all door entry lock and unlock functions operate normally.

      Result:

      HINT:

      If the entry lock and unlock functions do not operate for a certain door, refer to the PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE .

2. CHECK WIRELESS DOOR LOCK AND UNLOCK OPERATION 
   1. Check that the wireless door lock and unlock functions operate normally.

      OK : Wireless door lock and unlock functions operate normally. 

   NG : GO TO WIRELESS DOOR LOCK CONTROL FUNCTION 

   OK : GO TO NEXT STEP 

3. CHECK OPERATION OF KEY 
   1. After replacing the key with a normal one, check that the entry lock and unlock functions operate normally.

      OK : Entry lock and unlock functions operate normally. 

   NG : REPLACE CERTIFICATION ECU ASSEMBLY 

   OK : END (KEY IS DEFECTIVE) 

4. CHECK MANUAL DOOR LOCK OPERATION 
   1. Check that the manual door lock function operates normally.

      OK : Manual door lock function operates normally. 

   NG : GO TO  POWER DOOR LOCK CONTROL SYSTEM  

   OK : GO TO NEXT STEP 

5. READ VALUE OF INTELLIGENT TESTER (DOOR COURTESY SWITCH) 
   1. Check the DATA LIST for proper functioning of the each door courtesy switch.
