Entry Lock Function does not Operate on Rear Door LH: Description

When the touch sensor inside the outside door handle rear LH is touched, the multiplex network door ECU rear LH (rear door LH ECU) sends a request signal to the door electrical key oscillator rear LH. The key receives this request and transmits its ID code. Upon receiving the ID code, the certification ECU determines that the key is outside the vehicle and sends a lock signal to the rear door LH lock through the cowl side junction block RH (multiplex network body ECU).

1. CHECK MANUAL DOOR LOCK OPERATION 
   1. Check that the manual door lock function operates normally.

      OK : Manual door lock function operates normally. 

   NG : GO TO  POWER DOOR LOCK CONTROL SYSTEM  

   OK : GO TO NEXT STEP 

2. READ VALUE OF INTELLIGENT TESTER (DOOR COURTESY LIGHT SWITCH) 
   1. Check the DATA LIST for proper functioning of the rear LH side door courtesy light switch.

3. READ VALUE OF INTELLIGENT TESTER (LOCK POSITION SWITCH) 
   1. Check the DATA LIST for proper functioning of the door lock position switch.

4. READ VALUE OF INTELLIGENT TESTER (LOCK SWITCH) 
   1. Check the DATA LIST for proper functioning of the door lock switch.

      Certification ECU:

   NG : REPLACE REAR DOOR OUTSIDE HANDLE ASSEMBLY LH 

   OK : GO TO NEXT STEP 

5. CHECK OPERATION OF MULTIPLEX NETWORK DOOR ECU REAR LH 
   1. After replacing the multiplex network door ECU rear LH with a normal one, check that the entry lock function operates normally.

      OK : Entry lock function operates normally. 

   NG : REPLACE CERTIFICATION ECU ASSEMBLY 

   OK : END (MULTIPLEX NETWORK DOOR ECU REAR LH IS DEFECTIVE)
