Toe Control Link: Removal

  1. REMOVE REAR TIRE 
  2. REMOVE REAR SUSPENSION MEMBER SUBASSEMBLY 
  3. REMOVE TOE CONTROL LINK 
    1. Disconnect the skid control sensor connector.
    2. Remove the bolt, and separate the skid control sensor wire from the toe control link.
    3. Remove the nut on the axle carrier side.

    4. Using SST, disconnect the toe control link.

      SST 09628-00011 

      NOTE:
      • Securely tie the string of the SST to the vehicle.
      • Do not damage the dust cover.
      • Securely set the SST on the spacer of the axle carrier.
      • If the spacer of the axle carrier comes off, replace the axle carrier with a new one.

    5. Put matchmarks on the rear suspension toe adjust plate No.2 and rear suspension member.
    6. Remove the nut, rear suspension toe adjust cam sub-assembly, rear suspension toe adjust plate No.2 and toe control link.
